I bought one of those juicers that have you put the lemon half in and then you squeeze it closed with your hand. Eh, it was okay. Then I was in a 'vintage' store and bought an old 'push and turn' juicer like this one for something like $1. When I brought it home, my husband scoffed at it and he only tried using it after I repeatedly insisted it was better. Of course, when he used it, he marveled at its ease and effectiveness.I bought this one because I really liked the fact that it has the container for the juice and I don't have to strain out the seeds. It's SO much better than any other juicer I've had. It's just really easy and you get SO much more juice out of every piece of citrus fruit. Like, a significant amount more!

I didn't like how lightweight this was but the top does fit into the bottom very nicely. I think eventually I will buy a more substantial juicer.

I ordered this because I wanted a juicer that was easy to use and keep clean. It’s stainless and it works well, although it isn’t really heavy gauge stainless. The edges are a little sharp, so be careful. Overall I’m very happy with it.

As other reviewers mentioned it has a sharp edge on the top piece. I could see being able to cut yourself.Its very light weight - which is not the best as it slides around easily.I was trying to use this with the little mexican/bar limes and the auger or whatever you want to call the top piece was tooo large. Even with the larger fruit like oranges, the ribs were very flat so it didn't work as well as I would have hoped.

A simple, easy-to-use, manual citrus juicer. The top section comes off so you can have a little bowl of fresh juice separate from the pulp. It rinses clean, and is dishwasher-ok if that matters.

The material is thin and does not feature a nonskid pad. Beware using this item on light colored countertop as it will leave black marks!!The thin steel build also causes finger fatigue as you press down on this juicer during operation.Avoid. Get a glass model to avoid the plastic versions.

It’s a decent juicer, only draw back is you need to hold it carefully or it might slide. It’s great for grapefruit and oranges but seems a bit flimsy for small more dense fruits like limes. I don’t think it’s as solid/sturdy as advertised but it’s still way better than any plastic juicer I had. It catches pulp and seeds very well and is very east to clean.
