I use this implement to hold onions mostly but, I’ve also used it with other vegetables where I want to chop something and want to protect my fingers. It's well made, sturdy, and takes very little space in my kitchen drawer.

It’s difficult for me to get this thing into an onion to cut it initially. It’s great to hold it while I cut though. But it’s also difficult to pull it out.

I love this for the fact that it holds my tomato still when trying to slice it. I can actually get the knife through without the knife sliding off and having my tomato fall over as I try to cut. My husband laughs at me for buying this, because he has no problem, as I'm sure most don't. But with my disability anyway, I had issues holding it right and getting the knife through. The openings are a lot wider than a kitchen knife, so don't think these are going to automatically make even slices. I haven't actually used this for onions yet. Combined with my veggie chopper and shredder attachment, food prep has become much easier.

I've used this to slice tomatoes which turn out beautifully and are cut to precision. I've also used this to chop onions and makes it so much easier to do without my eyes tearing. Looking forward to slicing cucumbers and other veggies when I want uniform slices. Easy to use, easy to clean and it was a great purchase.

Holds Not just Onions but Tomatoes. I bought this because I have cut myself 3 times with some new knives and this device is the best solution. I tried a Mandolin but it was too dangerous for me.

Hilft beim Schneiden von Lebensmittel, ganz besonders je kleiner das geschnittene Schnittgut wird.Das schützt die Hand vor Verletzungen.Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es dafür, dass einer der Pins ca. 2mm kürzer ist, als die anderen.Im Endeffekt ist das nur ein Schönheitsfehler und beeinträchtigt die Funktion nicht wirklich.
