I was never the one to use a ricer and opted to use the standard hand masher and still do when I like my potatoes to have some texture. Sometimes you just want a velvety smooth, rich mashed potato dish to go with your meal and I accomplished that with this lovely kitchen gadget. It comes with different ricing strainers too. Good quality material. Easy to wash as well!!

It's works well, but when I put the disc in the disc holder it doesn't lock during operation. You have to use your fingers to constantly separate the disc from the plunger.

My home's one is broken, so it's time to buy another one. Whether it's good or not will only be known after buying it back, but I still hope it works well for me.

This is a great set. The peeler is sharp and works great. There are 3 different discs with different sized holes. The discs come right out for easy cleaning. The ricer is heavy and well made. It’s easy to use and clean. Very happy with this set.

This potato ricer seems to be well-made and is definitely better than my old one that broke. The metal has a heft to it and feels thicker than the cheap kitchen store one I had. The black rubber pads help with grip too.The construction is solid, and there's no burrs. However, there are a couple of small issues. The disc doesn't seat perfectly flush at the bottom of the press, because the side of the press is slightly curved instead of having a flat lip. Also, the cup that holds the potatoes moves around a bit, because it's not attached to the frame.
