The seller needs to update the description to not say 1/4”. It is 6mm, not the same as 1/4”. Other than that, this is excellent stock, with uniform, accurate dimensions, great finish and square cut ends. Recommended.

I got this as stock for my mini-mill and lathe.The listing title (at the time of this review) says 1/4, but it's actually 6mm which is under 1/4 inch. Unfortunately I missed that. The listing itself does mention that, but be careful if you actually need 1/4. That's a little frustrating because you can usually take material off, but you can't add it.The diameter comes in at exactly 6.00mm, and the length is spot on too. Surface finish looks great.
