It is a sturdy shelf but it was 1.5 inches longer than 48. I have hangover but I wedged it with a side table and C-clamps.

I'm using these on the back of my workbench in the garage. Yes, these are overkill but I don't have to worry about them bending or breaking with all the tools and equipment I have loaded on them.Are these expensive? Yes. Are they too expensive? Commercial shelving such as in kitchens need to withstand lots of abuse and still be cleanable to satisfy safety standards. So for that environment, the cost is reasonable. For home use though, less expensive options exist.These are high quality shelves without doubt. I just wish they had included a piece of paper with the assembly instructions on it so I didn't have to save and print out an image from the product page :-(

This is cheap. If you bought for a restaurant, this will not last. If you bought for home, maybe a couple of months. Cracked plastic pieces that hold screws to hold this together. See my pictures.

These stainless steel shelves would be great in a kitchen, but my use is to add shelf space to an art table. They are easy to assemble and sturdy in use. Shelves on a table produce the possibility of the entire shelf unit sliding to the side or backward thereby dumping everything on them. I like how this set gets around that by adding wings on the ends that wrap around the ends of the table and that have holes so you can screw them securely to the table for absolute security. Well thought out product with adjustable shelf height. Just be sure you order the right size so you can use the security fixation holes on the ends.

This shelving unit has come in quite handy in the kitchen. I have it holding my kitchenaid mixer, blender, juicer and few other smaller accessories. It's made of high quality and durable materials. The only issue I had was when I was putting it together. It came in scratched up and what I thought looked like a used item. However the holes for the screws were not all fully cut out so that eliminated that from being true. I was able to carefully (to avoid being cut) pop out and remove the spots that were not fully done. Overall very happy, those small inconveniences were nothing compared to the mess I dealt with prior.
