WOW!! There are many attachments for the KITCHEN AID MIXER!! This attachment selection gets used often. Our CuisineArt broke and I was pressed for time ( did not have time to shop & compare prices, wait for shipping, etc.) AMAZON delivered this less than 24 hours after ordering. Excellent equipment. All dishwasher safe components. We still don’t have a CuisineArt-no interest now.

It’s better than using a manual slicer or grater! The gauge could be a little heavier, more sturdy, but that’s my only issue. I don’t know that I could have found a better product. A bit pricey for cheap materials

I have not used this for cheese yet.Shredding veggies and slicing veggies is what i use this for, and is is an upgrade from the original one from Kitchen Aid that had broken the plastic feeding chute.The stainless steel plunger fits nice and tight into the chute with a smooth push nothing slips past the plunger.I have used this on onions, beats, kohlrabi ,and carrots, I used the medium grater on onions and it did a very nice job of mincing them.I did not have any problems connecting the drive shaft to the Kitchen Aid mixer, so not sure why the other reviewers had problems. Maybe it's due to me having some with mechanical skills.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT ! First off it is extraordinary quality, absolutely everything that can be metal in this is and it is good, thick, metal at that. It comes with a brush to clean which is convenient. I've used all the things for grating and slicing- food processor, mandolin, rotary grater, and regular old school graters. This is by far the over all best not only is it fast and easy, there's not much waste or residue at all and it is the easiest to clean out of all methods. Win, Win !

Second time to use the slicer for cucumbers and the die bent. Material is very thin. I would not recommend if you are using for large quantities like I am. I grow a garden only to can. Sorry, product is not good for my application.

Excellent quality! Pretty on my mixer, durable, easy to clean! Much better bargain than an original Kitchen Aid factory part that are made of plastic. This will last a lifetime of use!

I have loved my cheese grater attachment for my kitchen aid for nearly a year! No other issues until I needed to grate some hard cheese. The left side of the grater is completely caved in. The last little bit of one of the chunks of cheese I dropped in apparently got between the grater and the outer portion of the device. The results were a dented insert. The outer portion is fine, this is my fine grater tool. I still have a good large grater and slicer (never used the slicer) I use the large grater all the time on the softer cheeses. I make bulk dishes so I was grating an entire block and part of this second block, all went well until this one piece apparently. I may try to pound out the dent but honestly I feel like hard cheeses are just too difficult for the inserts that are probably either aluminum or very thin stainless steel. Other than this issue I have loved this device! I have a manual hand crank grater that usually works perfect for the hard cheeses so I guess I go back to that.

con questo la mia piccola KitchenAid da 4,3 l è completa, grattugia benissimo il formaggio (avevo un pezzo di grana non molto stagionato, perfetto) facile da pulire grazie allo scovolino in dotazione e poi va tutto in lavastovigliesoddisfattissima dell'acquisto, lo consiglio
