I use acrylics and oils with good results, applied with stencil brushes or fine makeup sponges for a finer surface area. It's hard to find contemporary patterns, and this dot-screen fade looks very cool with graffiti, photo or mid century designs. Would be impossible to cut such fine patterns yourself. Easy to clean, thin plastic.

The Tim Holtz Stencils are a great addition to my art studio - I have used these with 2D art projects and also plan to use them with clay to push slip through to make a textured pattern. These are a great size too - almost 8" x 4" of surface pattern.

I use this probably the most out of all my stencils. Tim Holtz is always good and this makes a great background stamp. Would purchase again.

The texture is a little fine for what I wanted--holes very small. Nevertheless it's a good stencil even though not exactly what I was hoping for.
