We use a cut in half 55 gal steel drum for a campfire and this allows us to cook steaks, burgers and such right on our campfire.

Paint immediately burned off after first use with heavy bubbling along thick edges. Like other reviews on here these are the true reviews and product is defective and will rust. Who knows what paint was eaten that bubbled up and onto food.Picture is after 1 single use

I bought this for camping. Unfortunately this was not big enough to fit over the fire ring at the campsite I was at. But if I were at a smaller campsite it would have been perfect!

Like some of the comments on here, the paint isn't heat resistant and it starts to bubble so you may not wanna start cooking on it right away, or cook directly on it. We roasted some corn on it, kept the husk on. We used aluminum trays to cook some wings. Now that we've used it and scraped it clean, I'm sure it will be fine to use for next time.

1 fire and frame and grill look like a wave, don't know why they paint it, couldn't get near the fire till I burnt all the paint off the grill, definitely not heavy duty like the description described
