This didn't fit even though it was listed as fitting a 1973 Ford 351 (mine's a Cleveland-Windsor might be a different story) both here and at the "Stone car" site.The flange that has to poke through the air filter housing is a little too short so it's not possible to slide the retaining clip on. The original also has key molded in which fits into a notch in the air filter housing opening. Finally, this part is a good 1/4 inch thinner than the original so you can't even just swap over the breather material, it's too loose. See the attached pictures, original on the right.Basically, it's really close but just wrong enough not to work.
