I had to send the first one back because the face falls off easily and the spring and detent ball fell out. Beware of this. The next one i super glued the clip attached areas and put ran it.

This was my second Standard switch from different vendors. The switch only moves half way before clicking/stopping and does not make contact with the points. If you hold the switch against the spring pressure, it works likes its supposed to. The first switch I installed and had to hold it to keep my truck running. While uninstalling it, the dang thing came apart and I could not send it back. This one had high reviews so I thought I would try the Standard product again with crossed fingers, eyes and toes. LOW AND BEHOLD.. Out of the box, it felt the same as the first one where it clicked half way. Rather than install this garbage, I put my meter on it and sure enough, it was exactly the same as the first one that I threw in the trash. Only this time, I'm getting my money back! This must be a defect in the manufacturing process. I will be buying a different brand.

Switch works good. No problems yet.Installed on my 84 Chevy c10.Looks good and fits perfect.
