This does fit most GM vehicles. I've had to replace my 06 Cobalt blower switch multiple times. Primarily caused by running the AC constantly. Same happened in my 08 HHR SS. Listing might say it won't fit. The switch is behind the climate controls and takes a T10 to unscrew it. Plop it in and just in case, turn it all the way to the left, if it isn't. Should work for a few months if you constantly still run the AC.

It’s working, for now. I hope it continues for long time.

This came as promised and it works as expected, but I still only had only the highest speed, so I researched further. Turns out my issue was a resister board behind the blower motor. It only took a few seconds to change out. Be sure to research before buying this. My local automotive had the sensor in stock for about 32 dollars.Changing the switch: 8mm socket was needed when I switched out the switch and a T10 torx bit to remove. You can do it from the backside of the control panel without disassembling it, which I of course did.

This part worked great as a single replacement piece for the fan switch on a Dodge Magnum. Mopar was pulling from bins I guess when they started to build the car as it was only for this single year. However it plugged right in and worked as it should. It did lead me to a further issue of my fan motor pulling too many amps through the switch. Will buy again.

Took me some research to find this part. This will work on a 2008 Chevy HHR Blower motor fan switch. A lot better than buy a whole AC control switch from a wrecking yard that could already be worn out. I found a youtube video that showed me how to change it. If your blower fan is blowing at full speed regardless of the setting then it's your ac resistor that's bad and not the switch.

2005 dodge magnum sxt 3.5lI bought like 4 of this from different places over the course of 10 years. They all burn one connection in the switch itself. The one on the corner of the switch. It melted due to the fact that all this switches are really bad quality. I endup buying the original from dodge and that works well
