This reverse light switch works perfectly as a replacement for a 1990 NA miata mx5. Mine failed, I ordered this replacement and it got me back functioning. Great product.

Don't lose your washer/spacer off of the original!!!! I have reverse lights again!!

Had to rewire the connectors because they'd been replaced over the years, but overall, seems to work great.

I have a 1989 Mazda Miata NA6. The transmission got stuck in reverse so I needed to change the backup switch. The one I pulled out was not the original but the "nub" on the end of the old one was larger than this one which I probably why it caused an issue. This went in with no issues and the terminated ends fit perfectly in the stock wiring. Couldn't be happier as to how easy it was to R/R. This did NOT come with an additional washer so ensure you keep the one off of your transmission.
