After confirming it wasn't the fuse or bulbs, this was the next thing to replace. Straight forward swap and problem solved and reverse lights now work.

Fits and works on a 2003 zx3 focus, im sure sensor fits other car manufacturers so check compatibility. Fixed my no reverse lights problem.

Make sure you hook your battery up and CHECK THAT IT WORKS before putting everything back together. The first one I ordered was faulty (it would only engage if you held pressure on the shifter), so I had to do the entire process to change it again. The second one works fine but, considering the first one was DOA, I'm now worried it'll fail one day soon and I'll have to do all that work again (changing the sensor takes around an hour and requires removing the upper transmission mount).

Made in Italy, fit my 2001 Focus with the MTX75 Transmission, installation requires a 7/8 deep socket and just needs to be snug plus 5 degrees. Reverse lights work again, I recommend cleaning the area of the sensor with brake clean to prevent any debris falling into the transmission and removing the airbox and battery tray for access.
