Just like the other review said, the first one I bought did not work. Ordered a second and it worked. Save yourself the headache and extra work, buy a better one and do the job once.

It did not work. I have swapped these out before (complete dis-assembly of distributor required) with no problems. This one was DOA. The plug has a problem also as it was very very tight getting it to plug in. Having to press off the drive gear and collar makes this a complex replacement. The retaining plug clip broke off also trying to plug it in completely. Very disappointed with Standard Motor Products.
