OEM alternator has 220,000 miles on it and the brushes were getting worn down. Took a few minutes to figure out how to remove the alternator and then replacing the brush set was super easy. Everything works as it should now and I hope to get a few more miles out of my alternator before needing a whole new one. Most often with Denso alternators, they only need the brushes replaced until it gets to ridiculous miles over 300,000.Even if your alternator is still working, it might be wise to replace the brushes at 200,000 miles because they wear out no matter what, much like brake pads. Best to get ahead of it than get stranded from a failing $20 part.

Perfect brush replacement for worn out brushes. It fits my 2002 Honda Civic Si Hatchback alternator.

It worked great in my 98 camry! Was easy to install and charges the battery like it should. They don't make alternators like they used to, so replacing as few parts as possible is good. Also, it's 150 dollars cheaper than replacing your alternator, so it's a win-win situation! If it doesn't fix the problem, then you will have only spent 20 dollars to try. Cheaper than a diagnosis from a mechanic.

These used to be OEM made in Japan. Nope, not no more! Cheap Chinese knock off. You can buy these cheap ones for around $10.

I was planning to replace the original alternator in my 03 camry. But turns out the brushes had little left after 170k miles. This fit perfectly. Price can be a few bucks cheaper.

1994 Honda Accord Vtec. Absolutely identical to the part that it replaced. Made in Japan. Why buy a Chinese part when this is available for only slightly more. 138,000 miles on the original brushes that were about 75% worn.

This was the problem with my alternator. to replace the brushes to the stator winding was not easy because the bolts that hold the brushes where frozen and some needed to be replaced
