Replaced the throttle position sensor after mine started throwing a trouble code. This is an OEM-quality replacement for the factory unit...the build quality is equal to the original. Replacement is straightforward; remove the harness cable (don't forget the red locking clip), remove 2 torx screws (careful...they are most likely slightly corroded and are prone to stripping out if you don't take your time), remove the old unit, and replace with the new. Replaced and reset the codes, and all is good; no issues to date ...3 months and counting.

My 2003 4.0L I6 had developed a bit of hesitation on acceleration, but mostly had an unstable idle rpm and would sometimes stall during parking or otherwise at idle speed. All fixed up. Perfect fit. Sturdy quality from what one can observe of electrical components. About 2 months now and we're operating perfectly.

The one that came in my jeep thats going bad. Works way better then the new one I just got. Idel jumps from 200rpms to 1500 with new one installed. My original one only drops 300 on start up

I used this to replace a bad sensor in my 02 jeep wrangler. Remove the two bolts, old sensor, and screw the new one on. It does not come with replacement bolts. I stopped at my local hardware store for replacements.

Sensor goes right in. Pick up a small 1/4 inch wrench and Torx 20 bit to remove the two screws no problem. Don’t forget to push the plastic tab so the old sensor is released before prying it out. No replacement hardware with the new sensor, but that’s pretty standard these days. Car runs with no error code upon initial installation. Will update if part doesn’t last.
