Made in USA. This is a rquired part for proper functioning of the EGR valve. Its purpose is to prevent excessive heat ransfer from the EGR to the throttle body which can adversely affect the performance of the throttle position sensor (TPS). Automotive repair demands all assemblies be done correctly with all necessary gaskets and components as completed by the car manufacturer. Don't cheap out - do it right the first time. This part from SMP is of high quality and will perform accordingly.

Simple, little well-made gasket...Wished they had a little tab to hold with needle nose plyers while you install both bolts. I actually dropped mine during a time when all local parts stores were closed but luckily it was metal & was able to find it with a magnet stick! Maybe there's a better way to install that I don't know about? Anyway, product quality was good...
