My dang trouble light had been on way too long. I put this on in about 10 minutes. The light didnt immediately go off but after a couple cycles, the trouble light went off. I've never had any problems with Amazon Automotive parts that wasn't my fault

My 2002 Windstar would not start or even turn over. Turns out that this sensor connects directly between the main reference voltage (5v) and ground return for the PCM. When it shorted, it killed everything in the vehicle and overheated the PCM. Bad design by Ford, I spent hours and hours looking for this problem.

The new part fit perfectly and worked great and my vehicle passed emissions testing.

After replacing the switch that controls the EGR valve I did more research and found out this sends the info to the switch all in conjunction with the computer. It is by far the easiest of the parts to replace. You don't need any tools!!! I looked in the tubes of the old one and saw a lot of gunk. Hoping this does the trick?

This is my second time buying this for my dad's 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Both time we either used it for a month or less before we started seeing the warning sign again to change it. This second time, I ordered it on the 28 of January, received it a few days later, installed it and am already seeing a warning sign and it hasn't even been one month. It is the 14 of February.Please tell me if I am using the wrong one for our car or something. We are getting really tired of this constant cycle.

Used on a 2001 Ford Mustang 3.8L V6. I guessed I needed this after a new EGR valve not fixing my P0401 error code. I guessed right and I've driven 30 miles with multiple cold starts and no more P0401! Bought my 'stang with quite a few codes, and with this little part the last error code is gone and now my dashboard looks amazing without the "Service Engine Soon" light.
