My Mom's 2001 Toyota Camry was getting error code p1410 and sometimes p1411 on my OBD2 reader. It identified the Exhaust Gas Recircualtion Position Sensor as being the likely culprit. After replacing it and clearing the code, the error has not returned. Item is easy to replace, just be careful not to lose the small o-ring seal that is included. It is easy to find on this vehicle. It is located on top of the back of the engine in the center. 3 hex head screws hold it in place. I also replaced the vacuum hose for it with 1/4" flexible fuel line. The original was cracked and brittle.

My 21 year old Avalon was running pretty poorly and found the EGR sensor was flagged. Replaced it with this and now the engine hums like it used to. Easy as pie to install; took 2 minutes. 2 screws on top of the egr valve.
