I’ve pulled lots of carpet staples in my time. Grew up renovating homes and now I have one of my own, that had wall to wall carpet. I always despised pulling staples with a flathead screwdriver, pliers and god knows what else. These made it very easy to get under the stick staples, push down and quickly pull up, voila, no damage and staple is gone. I did have a pair of pliers for the stubborn ones where one side would pop out and the other stayed in.

The staple removers arrived in a yellow envelope with nothing else. There were no instructions on how to use them. As they are not like most staple removers that I have used, I had to Google the instructions. First of all, the part that is supposed to slip under the staple to pull it out is too wide so I can’t even use it. I assume the box shaped addition to it is for leverage but since it doesn’t work on any of the size carpeting staples that I have encountered, I wouldn’t know. I’m not sending them back because it’s not worth my time but I am disappointed because I have to find something else.
