Stock is old. Ink is dried up in the cartridge. Would not work even after priming it 6 times. Purchased 2 more from the Staples online website. Cost more but worked perfectly. Returning.

I decided to order this Staples K700 cartridge for our Pitney Bowes Mailstation 2 hoping for better reliability than the LD Products cartridges that I have used before. The LDs are very inexpensive but seem to have a habit of clogging up the printhead. I just finished using a Pitney Bowes cartridge and it made it all they way to running out of ink without any clogging.I decided to try this Staples version since it is about half the cost of the PB. The one I got didn't work at all - no printing. Tried it four times (wasting a lot of my time) and no success. Put the LD back in and the machine works fine.Update: decided to try another after seeing positive reviews and seeing the price of genuine PB cartridges. Took about three priming runs but it finally got going and has been working fine. So I will raise it to four stars.

I already love my mailstation at my shop and Staples K700 postage meter ink cartridge makes my life so much easier. Not only is ordering from amazon more convenient but the Staples K700 postage meter ink cartridge is much cheaper than buying one in the store. I am so grateful for it!

First let me say prior to this ink cartridge I have always used original Pitney Bowes cartridges. I have purchased them from sources other than Pitney Bowes so I never paid the ridiculous prices PB charged.Because this carried the Staples name I decided to try it. So far I have not been disappointed. The ink color is the exact same red color as the PB ink and the impressions are just as bright. It fits just as well as the original and there is no leaking of the ink. The meter does not get used a lot so I do not yet know if I will get the same number of impressions but even if I get less, this cartridge will be well worth the price I paid for it.

I ordered a couple of these, and recently went to replace one and found it leaked all over the inside of the bag it comes in so I had to throw it away. Still, however, 3 stars because the ones that do work actually work and don't leak I've tried some other brands of generic ink this one works the best for the price. All the others leaked while in the machine and damages the print nozzle. Just started using these so im not sure if it will eventually clog or damage the ink nozzle as well as pitney bowes claims non-pb ink will. Seems fine for far except that one has definitely leaked inside the packaging it comes in

This is the best alternative ink for thepostage meter 2. Does the job wonderfully, print out is very clear &clean.It's very good on the budget,don't have toconstantly clean the print head.
