Give it plenty of time to get to the right temperature. We gave it 30 to 45 minutes on the grill before trying to cook. Once the pizza was in, it took about 15 minutes to cook. Had to turn it halfway through to cook the part near the opening. Overall, the quality of the product is very good.

We love this. We had an Ooni pizza oven before and we love this so much more. Like that it doesn’t take up counter top space. Use in the grill and then store away easily. No separate propane tank needed.

Poor quality merchandise you are not getting what you pay for this is made from very thin metal and no quality control mine arrived with the left side sliding door off track and inoperable possibly do either to incorrect assembly or simply because it is too flimsy to survive the rigors of shipping without damage it could be one or both. After pushing the left sliding door back into position it moves but only with strong effort, I can only imaging how high temperature heat will affect this thin metal and I expect operation of the doors will only get worse. This oven is basically a thin metal shell with no lining of any sort it arrived with a pizza stone that at least survived the shipping to my door. As it sits it is unusable it only redeeming quality it is a perfect fit to sit atop my barrel smoker my reason for buying it dispute the critical reviews my hope they were overly critical… they were unfortunately accurate.

I’ve used this several times and here is what I’ve observed. Cooking time takes a little longer than a few minutes as indicated. The top of the pizza does cook but doesn’t get some char on it unless you cook it much longer. I use this in a pellet grill and I’ve taken a temperature of the stone and gets up to 450 so bottom temp is good, top temp could be a little better. At first, make your crust a little thicker so you can master sliding the pizza off the peel - otherwise you’ll end up with a mashed mess. I learned to use a lot of cornmeal on the bottom of the dough to make it slide off easier. Overall this is a good starter pizza oven and if you really enjoy it, spend a little more on your next pizza oven purchase.

I was making my first pizza on the grill, the dough got stuck to the pizza peel , the topping rolled on to the stone and burnt the stone! So I ordered wooden peeler and more stones , the stones are much heavier, but I think will work just fine! I’m not giving up I’m going to try this till I get it right!!

This oven, like most outdoor ovens have a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it it, works just fine.
