We are avid Star Wars collectors and also enjoy playing with some of our collection. As a family of five and with three boys who love these Star Wars toys of ages ranging from my age 45 on down to the youngest child being 4, we love this U-Wing fighter. As an long time fan I was a bit opposed to having nerf darts on a vehicle as a way of firing off laser cannons, (only because I love the lights and sounds of the older generation toys) I find this toy to be quite nice and am pleased with the darts. Though the item does not make sound the moving wings and mechanisms of this toy are fabulous to manipulate. I enjoy playing with my younger boys with this toy along with the Tie-Stryker and using the darts to shoot at one another or at action figures is quite amusing. Aside from being an old school toy collector of the originals, I give this toy two thumbs up all the way and highly recommend it. This toy also displays well when not being played with.

Great play toy for the Star Wars lover. My six year old son loves it. The folding wings, firing nerf bullet and the retractable landing gear give the U-wing the authentic feeling. It does have a Compartment for the pilot Cassain Andor but I only wish it came with K2-SO.

It's not a scale model or perfectly accurate, but that's not why I bought it and not something I'd have expected from a child's toy. Its larger than I was expecting, but very nice. It was easy to put together and I had no issues with the landing gear that some reviewers seemed to have. It seems sturdy enough for a child, though mine will spend most of its time on my shelf. It's pretty enough to serve that purpose as well. I would have adored this as a kid, but I suppose I'll have to settle as having one as a twenty-something year old.

I wanted to post a short review of this Star Wars U-Wing Fighter. We bought two different ones for our grandson and he is loving them. I had to send this one back the nerf shooter would not lock. A replacement should be here tomorrow, but I have to say if you use the interactive app you can make some really cool movies. You actually press the button the smart phone and it will look as if the fighter is shooting a laser or some type of weapon at the included fighter pilot. I think most kids, and some adults lol will have a lot of fun with this setup. All the other ones that he has are working great and I am sure that the one coming tomorrow will be fine.Take care, GrandpaJake

This toy is much better than the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" line by Hasbro. However, the same issues with the quality of the toys continue. The plastic that is used is substandard. The toy feels flimsy and poorly manufactures. Hasbro used to be the leader in quality toys and it is sad to see how far they have fallen. Unfortunately, they are nothing more than a second rate toy company now.

This thing is pretty cool, but pretty big. The long, skinny wings are Super flexible, nothing has broken yet and my 4.5YO isn't necessarily rough with it but she is very careless with it. She likes it lots.

Purchased (on sale for less than $40) through Amazon for a Christmas gift for one of my nephews. I was impressed with the fast shipping, and of course there is NOTHING comparable to the convenience of not having to shop in a toy section at a mall filled with people before the holidays.As for the toy - I was actually really impressed with this! It's a really nice quality toy (as seen in its full detail on Christmas after he opened it) and it's finished well. This is pretty sturdy for a toy ship, and my nephew loovvveeeddd that it can shoot the little darts out.Overall, I feel this would make a great gift for a child that loves Star wars.

My son loved this .think it is a bit expensive but he was happy .its quite large wings are a bit flimsy. But if my boys happy then i am to 8 out of 10 from me
