I was so up in the air about buying these. When I first looked, they had one bad review. Supposedly the fit was terrible. Finally I decided to give them a try. Installed them last night. I think the fit is great. I don't quite understand where the front two small areas of velcro gobuy that's fine. Haven't been out and about with them yet but I'm sure they'll be just fine. I would recommend. I also bought the lower doors. They are a great fit.

The fit was not what I was expecting it seems that it's a little short ,went on a test drive and it let a lot of air in

The left side window zipper came off the tracks so now it doesn’t zip on the first time unzipping.

With winter coming, it was time for some soft windows for the X3. There are a number of options available on Amazon that look very similar in the pictures, so I rolled the dice and got a set of these.Step one was to unroll the windows and let them sit for a few days to see if some of the wrinkles would come out of the windows-they didn't. My rear window is made from a similar material and the wrinkles did come out of that, but it took months. Supposedly a heat gun will speed this up, but I didn't try that.Step two was to remove the roof and windshield. The instructions are as expected, not great, but I did read them before the install. The TLDR version is you have to install the two points where it attaches to existing bolts first and go from there. Those mounting points limit the where the windows can go once they're bolted down. From there, attach all the straps to the frame.After numerous attempts to adjust it so it fit "right", it became apparent that I had it as good as it was going to get and went out and gave it a real world test.These were my issue spots:-The mirror holes didn't work with my mirrors so I had to remove those.-The windows cover the roll cage mirror mounting holes so I can't use those either.-The opening where the mirror supposedly goes has no strap, it relies on velcro, but the velcro doesn't contact the frame. This creates an forward facing cold-air intake for your cab.-If I COULD mount mirrors, I wouldn't be able to see them because these windows make your A-pilar 3-4x the size it is.-The straps are unnecessarily thick and prevent my windshield from sealing to the cage.-One of the lower attachment point grommets is already failing.-Large gaps above door hinge.

Took a few moments with a heat gun to relax the wrinkles out (be careful, a little heat goes long way). The installation was easy (after removing the roof first), but the straps are just long enough (preferred longer). Overall fit is very good - no complaints. Zippers seem decent, only time will tell. Givin em 4.7 stars...

For the price, these are good backups to our regular upper windows. We've had to have zippers replaced before in those and it can take months. Nice having an option for when we want to go out. These work ok, though I am not as thrilled to have to unzip them to get in and out. The framed windows that fully mount to the door are much easier.
