The StarMax MX-100R HDMI to RF Modulator significantly underperforms compared to its advertised capabilities. Despite dedicating an entire day to its setup, with assistance from a technically skilled technician, we were unable to achieve satisfactory results on any of the three TVs in my home. The video quality is poor, often appearing pixelated and sometimes displaying a pink hue, suggesting incompatibility with American TV standards. Notably, my new 65" TV failed to detect the device's channel during the scan process. Furthermore, audio playback is marred by distortion and occasional glitches, reinforcing the notion that this device may not be suitable for the U.S. market. One of the TVs sporadically loses signal, displaying a "NO SIGNAL" message. The technician, using a field meter, identified significant interference harmonics in the StarMax Modulator's output, which also caused the disappearance of other channels on my TVs. Given its subpar performance and the frustration it has caused, I plan to return this inadequate prototype. I advise against purchasing this product and recommend considering alternative options

They put together a nice kit. Cables, power cord AND power supply, mounting brackets and screws to attach them. Mine work with default setting right out of the box. Only negative thing I have to say at this point is, the bracket screws are 1mm to long. Not allowing me to tighten bracket all the way down. I have used a brand of modulator that cost twice as much(and is a quality piece) in a commercial setting a couple times. This one's pic quality is just the same.
