i must have driven through a deep water hole and got some water in the pull cord assembly of my Polaris Sportsman 500. the water caused this drive to rust out and no longer engage. it was relatively easy to swap out and works perfectly. i have put a few hundred miles on it after =installing and it's still going strong

Was having problems with old bendix not engaging all of the time on a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500. This one was a perfect fit and now engages every time. Took about 30m start to finish even with removing and replacing moldings. Easy fix.

Fit our old 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500 ATV perfectly. Solved our starting problem of the bendix locking up on the ring gear so the pull cord or 12v starter couldn’t function. Received very timely in protective package.
