I have a basic chinese 107 or 109 cc engine (I forget, they probably call it a 125 or 100) with the starter on the bottom instead of the top of the engine. The housing that this one comes with doesn’t fit the engine but the starter was the same, so I was able to remove the motor and the brushes and swap them into the original housing. It works great, just thought I’d leave this for anyone in a similar situation.

Didn’t work the time I’ve installed it, haven’t been able to get it to work. It gets so hot to the touch so obviously it wasn’t assembled correctly.
