The factory one was going for almost a hundred on my 2005 Yamaha v star 1100 so it was worth trying this one for the price. It is wired exactly backwards from my original relay but there was just enough room to swap everything around and it starts and runs great at the moment. Interested to see how long it lasts.

I purchased this solenoid knowing it was a reproduction part. It was significantly cheaper than an OEM Yamaha part. The solenoid lasted about 45 days and then failed. I was in the backcountry hunting when it failed, so created significant problems for me. I had to revert to hand starting or pulling off the seat and jumping the polls to get it started. While the price is attractive I would not recommend this part.

Lasted about 100kms before it started acting up. Went the cheap route and now I'm paying for it in the end. Lesson learned. Very disappointing.

Garbage hoping for a refund or another one to try because my experience with this was horrible I got the slinoid come and the fuses fell right out junk
