Works okay. Starter don’t have enough strength if the engine is in compression stroke. Have to pull the rope get it out of compression stroke then it spins the engine fine. For what it takes to remove and replace a ATV starter I would have removed and returned for a stronger starter. I just don’t want to do it again so I’ve learned to deal with its issues. Maybe works better on ATV with leaker compression.

This is a good replacement for an OEM part. However, I’ll have to wait and see how long it lasts.

this was a replacement for a 20 year old original starter that had worn out. It was difficult to replace but now its done and it seems ok. Ill update the review if there are issues. Otherwise I would recommend due to price being fair. It came with relay and pull starter gear replacement also. If It came with bolts id consider a five star. If Its not updated means its still working fine
