I bought 3 of these. Blue, red, black. For my kids to lock their treasures away from each other. As others have said there are no instructions but I was able to figure out how to open and change code in a minute.To open, set number to 000. To change code, there is a switch inside. Flip that set the number you want to unlock, then flip switch back.For some reason the black box looks like picture with a plate that has the numbers. The blue and red ones have the numbers but also a dial to the left to roll the locking mechanism.The hardest thing for my kids to learn so far is that the unlocking code needs to be used to also lock the box. They will change the number after opening and then can’t remember why it doesn’t lock for them.4 stars because they all came wrapped in plastic but all have chipped finish along various edges.

Excellent cash box. Cash drawer lifts out easily, lock combination changes easily, lock functions well, box is exactly what i needed.

Terrible product. Latch did not work and there's no instructions on how to set the combo to lock.

I’m a vendor, and this was perfect for my vending set up. Very easy to navigate and lock and unlock. Keeps my cash safe when I need to walk away from the table.

This is just an inexpensive box just to stick stuff in and hide it away. Actually I consider it pretty junky but for 11 bucks it’ll work for what I need it. If you’re looking for a real box that’s really secure look further. These are great for little kids who want away from each other, come with instructions. I read some of the reviews and found the instructions in it. Set your box to 000 and open it and pull the switch the switch over and set the combination to what you want but it flip back very simple and thank you to the person , that information in the comments because this thing comes with no instructions and no way to open it .

Works great for what I need it for. I have noticed the lock gets stuck at times but it eventually opens.

The combination feature isn't great on this box. You can hear when the correct number clicks into place.It's not a big deal for me as I just need something that closes so I can carry it. But if you need something that locks to keep others from getting into it, I would recommend the one with a key.

Needed a lockable unit to store medication in for a family member with dementia to prevent them overdosing. Worked well

Instructions say to move lever to the side then up to reset code, but it wouldn't move sideways at all. I don't see how it could. Wrestled with it a good five minutes until the lever stuck in the open position -> product now useless.Ordered for elderly mother while visiting and had to fly back the next day so couldn't even return it. Now just hoping the recycling people will take it.
