This is a well-made product that I learned was virtually useless without dapping dies (needed to complete the process of turning flat metal disks into concave shapes).Consider buying the dies at the same time OR buy a complete set of dies and blocks.

As a casual hobbyist it's more than I need but worth the price. Yes it's great for forming curved metal sheet models. This functional and beautifully crafted block could be on display in itself. It's not often you find items of such craftsmanship and design.
