I do like the variable speed, it runs good and smooth.It's impossible to find the hook and loop pads in the size this takes. I had to buy large sheets and cut them and use the clips to attach. I have hook and loop paper on order but really..... If you buy this product and need multiple types of sandpaper (I needed 60,80,100,400,600) you have to "make your own". They would do much better if they offered the replacement sandpaper pads. Look for another if you need to have an easy access to replacement sandpaper.

This sander is a good price for the power and performance it provides. The dustbin is a little clunky and I think I prefer the bag method better, but it's okay. It is a large unit, so if you're trying to work in tight spaces or you don't have a lot of arm strength/stamina, then it might not be the right choice for you. Noise level isn't too bad, but I would still recommend wearing hearing protection.

Actually the sander works well, a large one to be sure. Like many other items I have ordered, this one isn't exactly as claimed This time it was the color, blue rather then gray body. I'm getting skeptical what will arrive, so I hope reviews like mine will give insight to others.
