We ordered this ladder to get us a little more height on a small stand-up tree stand that we move around. I think that for those situations this will work just fine; when you are out and about and want as little weight as possible. This ladder won't give you a lot of extra height but just that little extra distance between you and the ground. The construction seems fairly well done with heavy and multiple stitching to make sure that everything stays in place. There are a couple of points that should be made regarding this ladder. First, the way you hang it is to put each loop over the bottom rung of the existing ladder and then tighten it down with the velcro. Well that works however each side is still free floating and if its wet or if your stand tilts even just a little bit, you do run the risk of it sliding off the lower side. I could even envision this happening if you pull sideways to quickly while trying to get into your stand. They should update this with some sort of a hook or connector that can attach to the vertical part of the stand. A second point is that using Velcro when out on the hunt is a very loud experience initself. When you are trying to be as quiet as possible and you want to shift your stand or maybe just adjust the ladder where it's at, that "ripping" noise will travel and bring unwanted attention to your spot. Overall, this isn't such a bad ladder even with the points that I have made, especially at this price point.

I'm probably going to throw these out.. I just used them for the first time and after not being able to get my second foot in.. The step between the last rung and the stick is soo far I can't reach it. So I had to wrap it up multiple times so I could just barely step from the aider to the stick. Ordering up other ones now and taking these to the trash.

This aider works in a pinch. Make sure that your anchor points are good! It's pretty wobbly and a little sketchy at best. It's easy to hang but the steps say and pinch your foot. It's a reasonable price, but you would be better off using climbing sticks or something like that.

At first glance, this is a pretty nice aider. The material is nice, and the stitching appears to be well done and strong. It's wider than some other aiders that I have seen. It's fairly lightweight, and can be bunched up and fits in my saddle bag with little effort. That's about the end of the positives.Update: Don't buy this aider. In use, it's too long, too flexy, and difficult to climb as your boots are grabbed too much and get easily stuck when climbing. Coming down is even sketchier. I've thrown it in the garbage as I couldn't think of another use for it. I'm generously giving it two stars as the material is pretty nice, and my copy was well made.

Using it on my hawk platform for saddle hunting.Lots of extra stap to tie onto the platform. Works as intended,, gets you up in the tree quick.

This letter works well in the fields and functions. Great to get you into your hunting spot. Has a nice quality and is very trustworthy to climb on. Great value.

This nylon aider is very quiet and light. It easily rolls up into a small carrying size to easily fit in a dump pouch, pocket or backpack. It clips very easily onto climbing steps as it's designed to do. It easily holds my weight which is currently around 200lbs with gear on. The pictures make it look like the steps stay stiff out to the side when climbing them which is very inaccurate. They fold onto your boots like any other aider does. That's the only reason I'm removing a star. They are built well. The sewing is solid. The picture(s) are kind of misleading though. Other than that, it works great and I'm glad I have it. This will get me that little bit of extra height this coming hunting season.
