My 3 year old loves this! We just bought a bag of play sand at Lowe’s and it was all set. The lid makes it easy to preserve the sand and keep out unwanted visitors when not in use. There are little ties at the end to secure the lid to the base. It’s a decent size and my kid chooses to both sit and stand while in use. It already came with some pretty good tools, and you can also add more especially if you have beach toys already. The top of the lid is a little race track too. Pretty sturdy so far. It’s a bit more expensive but in this case it seems to be worth it.

My 2 year-old grandson loves this sandbox, plays it every time he came over this summer and fall. Sturdy, keeps what's inside in and what's outside out. Quality toy.

We use this indoors so no issue w leaking. It’s pretty darn big but low. Perfect for probably a 2 year old up. We put macaroni (many boxes) in it foolishly thinking this was the least problematic thing to use to fill it up with. We knew sand would end in either a trip to Urgent Care or an appointment with the floor refinisher. Just an FYI. We will be finding elbow macaroni until the day we move. But hey at least the grands were enthralled…for all of about 8 & 1/2 minutes. That’s a win-win around here.

My son absolutely loves this sandbox. It is the perfect height for him and he plays in it for hours. Assembly was super easy and my son asks to play in it pretty much every day, often several times a day. The size is great, not taking up too much space on our desk, but also plenty roomy for him to play with the sand and dig and build with his trucks. The lid is a nice extra feature, along with two little bands on the side that let you close it tight so it doesn't blow away or get wet inside. Great sandbox, we love it!

If your kids are into simple sand play areas, this is a good standalone station. Its not very big, but has enough area that our Grandson, now 2.5, loves popping off the top and goes right to his construction toys digging in the sand. I should get more sand but he seems content with just moving things around within the 2x3 ft space. It has a 3-4" lip to keep the sand in and the cover snaps on easily with 2 rubber strings that hold it down against rain or wind. I like that its easy to move or set out when he visits.Good 'toy' to keep him busy and fun to watch him move his trucks through the sand, inventing senarios of small construction sites. He will probably end up driving excavators, oh well.

Study sand table, love that it’s easy to put the cover on and off. The cover is secured well and has never blown away even in North Dakota high winds! My daughter loves it.

So easy to put together and comes with the perfect tools for a two year old ( scoops, small bucket claw/digger). It is the perfect height for my two year old grandson. For fall, we placed corn in it and he has had a ball!

Le couvercle n'est pas très solide et il pleut dans le bac à sable. A part cela, ce bac à sable est bien adapté pour des enfants de 2 ou 3 ans.

Bought this for my daughter as a water play table. For some reason most of the other water tables have holes in the water area for the legs to come through, stupid idea to put holes in a water table right? This one is very sturdy, the perfect height and has a nice large play area. It's deep enough to hold quite a bit of water and with it on our patio outside, it's less messy than sand and I don't have to worry about rain getting in and making mud. Perfect product for our needs.

I don't write reviews on Amazon as a habit but this is a brilliant product. I bought it for my 15-month-old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She never gets bored with 'saaaaand' and will play for hours in the garden if I let her. I like it because:1) it's hardwearing. ok yes it's made of plastic and doesn't look as trendy as some other sandboxes with special wood cladding but it won't rot or discolor or fall apart because the screws got loose. kids don't care about trendy anyway.2) it's the right size -- not to big, not too small, it can be moved around easily. 2-3 children can play at it easily3) it's very practical -- it's sturdy, and was easy to put together. it has a cover.4) it came with free stuff -- a bucket, spades and 2 'claws' -- more than enough sand toys to keep a toddler entertainedI could see that maybe with older children, they might have to stoop to play but I solved this problem by buying a small folding chair. My daughter isn't too tall for it yet, but thought I'd go ahead and get one. She loves sitting in her chair and building castles.Buy it.
