If you have one of their Geared stepper motors, you need a bracket like this - either to mount directly and/or use as a template. very sturdy and up to specs.

It fits the economy gear motor perfectly, with absolutely no play once it's bolted in. It's well-dimensioned, not too heavy despite its steel construction, and provides enough space under the motor and gearbox to hold a nut.

Definitely sturdy, it's a very accurate fit for common geared/planetary nema 17's and will also fit a naked nema 17 just as well.

I am posting the first photo in case it might be helpful for somebody else. I purchased this unit intending to use it with a device I invented to measure a person's eyes 8 or more feet away (see second photo). I couldn't fit it into the design of this product. I ended up taking another approach and returned this device.

Very solid mount for stepper motors. Does not bend at all. Rigid and hefty. I like the provision for geared steppers with the smaller inner holes and works for both regular stepper Nema17-sized stepper and its geared versions.

This part is accurately made and fits a NEMA 17 perfectly. It is a welcome replacement for the poor quality mounting I received for the Z axis motor in my Velleman K8200 kit which only used two holes along 1 edge of the motor. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is somewhat dodgy weld quality, not that it should affect useability.
