It does what it says however at its extremes it’s not a clean signal so if you need it for anything other than signal conversion don’t bother. It’s not a sufficient pre-amp.

After an extensive delay the item arrived and did not work! contacted the seller who then provided me with a label that the post office would not use with an unrecognizable address in China. I was never refunded. Buy at you own risk.

It does work as advertised, but does seem to introduce a hum if not careful. It works fine if your using it to boost a sub though. The knobs' also a little lose.For the price, I can’t say it’s bad at all.

Excellent for just boosting the signal output especially of USB powered controllers - no more pushing the controller to its limits when working in venue where the amps settings are fixed

It does work for it's intended purpose. You can only use XLR or RCA not both at once, which is fine by me.It does boost the incoming signal so it's like a line level control.

The input volume knob is graduated in large increments, meaning, if you have the volume past 1 click from 0, the signal will distort wildly through a speaker system. On top of that, it cuts out pretty much all frequencies from 900kHz down, leaving a tinny and buzzy final output. I am not satisfied with this purchase at all outside of the product design itself which succinct and sexy - compact, simple and of physical niceness. Beauty, it turns out, is only skin deep. A great way to turn your warm and vibrant LP collection into a soulless, two-dimensional facsimile.
