We needed a pillow speaker for my son to connect to his mp3 player for bedtime audiobook listening. It works fine for the intended purpose but volume could def go louder and the sound quality is just okay.

Volume is so low you cannot hear this under a pillow.

Very good product. Not quite as loud as I was hoping under the pillow but that is just me and a very thick pillow with cooling pad.

Recently bought this, as it fits my radio jack, although it's apparently intended for use with a device that is very close by, such as an mp3, so the cord is quite short. Still it works as a pillow speaker with a nearby radio/CD player for listening to audio books and the BBC at night.Update: This thing did not last two months before conking out!
