I recently got a stacked bob/pixie haircut and wanted interesting earrings to showcase my new look. These ear crawlers are not only stylish and cute, but also priced right. For those reviewers saying these earrings should be bigger, all I can say is if you want them to be bigger you must want elephant ears! If they were any bigger they would look very tacky and they wouldn’t even stay on your ears because of the weight. They are the perfect size, but be warned: you need to have lobes to actually be able to wear these. Some people have ears shaped in a way where there is little lobe. If you are such a person, sorry but these crawlers are not for you. They are not exceptionally difficult to put on. I find that the little rubber stoppers are completely useless and do nothing to keep the earrings in place. What’s better to do is to GENTLY manipulate the pins while putting the earrings on. Open them a little wider while putting them through your ear holes, pinch them tight to make sure the earrings stay in place. The keyword is GENTLY. I slept in these and woke up to see that they had not moved at all. I wouldn’t shower in them, however, because they are, after all, made of cheap stones (not even sure they’re zirconias) and may get tarnished. Bottom line: don’t take your purchase very seriously. If you want to try a fun new look, buy a pair. But don’t expect that you’re getting heirloom jewelry and don’t be disappointed if they break or don’t sit right on your ears. These type of products are always hit or miss. I’m lucky these earrings work for me, but they may not work for everyone.

Cute idea, but absolutely does not stay in place. You can bend the back all you want still doesn’t stay.

I was worried about if I would regret purchasing these after reading reviews that they break or fall down. I think they are beautiful and was just what I wanted. I suppose if you bend it back and forth it could snap but I saw no reason to do that. When using the silicone backings near the tip at the top it keeps it in place and does not fall down. Just be careful not to pinch and pull the flexible part that goes into your ear like a bobbypin. At first I put the backing all the way to the bottom near the lobe rather than at the end at the middle part of the ear. If you do that it won't hold it in place and drops. It may also loosen the silicone backing so you may need new backings if that happens and try not to make the hole bigger by pushing too far down.
