The set is big and heavy enough to play comfortably on [somewhat] leveled grass. True to the size described and looks as pictured. I will be getting/making a canvas carrying bag as the mesh one feels a bit flimsy, although it has not teared or ripped, it just "feels" flimsy and I would like a canvas one more.

I couldn't be happier with this bowling set. Hours of fun played inside and outside.

The Pros: The pins were sturdy enough and we used this for one our family Olympics contests. Also appreciated the carrying case. The Cons: The product description mentioned for indoor or outdoor use. Firstly, you need really stable ground for out-doors (so the pens stay up), perhaps it depends on the type of grass you have or time of year. I experimented with indoor use in the event we had rain: first the balls are obviously smaller than a bowling ball but they still hit the floor HARD. I had concerns for my wood floors or tile getting scratched up or chipped. It is an issue! SO we didn't go that route. Our solution: purchased astroturf (another $20 spent) crossed out fingers for no bad weather, and placed it on an outdoor concrete/paver patio, it worked fine.

Nice weighted pins. I was disappointed that a couple of pins have splits in the wood that wood filler was used and not sanded. This makes them look like they were used and returned.

My son is an advid bowler, so this is a nice outdoor way to bowl. The pins are not as big as a regular bowling pins, maybe about half the size. They are wood, also light. There is a black mesh carrying case. There are 10 bowling pins, and two small hand size balls. The balls are fairly light weight, but heavy enough to knock the pins down. There is a concern about two of the bowling pins. One bowling pin already has a crack from the middle down. I can imagine after a couple of smacks of the ball, it will break in half. The other pin has an indent on it. Not sure if the indent will compromise the integrity of the pin. My son liked this small bowling set. Nice way to get him out of the house. I am a little hesitant to have this being used in the house as the pins may fly away and hit something. A nice addition to the outdoor yard games for sure.

Lawn gamed are a fun way to keep the family active. These are sturdy and attractive. They come in a strong mesh bag for easy storage. The balls are small and light so they're good for kids as well as adults.
