Huge improvement over your standard paddles. I have the stiga Titan, the Alpha & love both paddles. It feels really good when you hit the ball, great feedback. Handle feels nice & looks great. I've tried the Stiga Raptor & found that paddle is just too thick for me, I get no feedback from the Raptor.

First of all, this ping pong paddle ships in a really nice, really beautiful box that displays the paddle nicely and opens to reveal the paddle beautifully. It's a fun "unboxing" experience for a new owner, but it also means this paddle makes a great gift.The paddle itself is also great. The overall weight is nice, and the handle is really comfortable. I do like the way the flare at the end of the handle feels in my hand.The "big brother" of this paddle is one called the "Bullet" which you can see here:https://www.amazon.com/STIGA-Bullet-Ping-Pong-Paddle/dp/B0BR2M2SRM/The Bullet is, I think, a little bit lighter, has a little bit more grippy rubber surface, and a little bit more responsive sponge. However, it's also a good bit more expensive than this paddle, the Alpha.For my money, I consider the Alpha to be a very strong option at a much more accessible price than the Bullet. Both paddles are made to very high quality standards, so there are no weak spots in the glue or imperfections in the wood that I could see.At its list price ($50.68), this feels like a great value for someone who's ready for a serious upgrade.

This Stiga Alpha Ping pong paddle is absolutely amazing!! I have played ping pong for a while now and love it! For me I really enjoy playing with a good and durable paddle! Which this one meets all of my expectations! First off this paddle is gorgeous, I can se sit has great workmanship to it! The packaging of this was luxurious it looked amazing! I gotta say this actually might be my new favorite paddle! To add to this is that the surface has a nice tackiness! It creates good spin! I love the handle, it isn’t hard to the point where I might grow blisters. Overall I am very impressed and satisfied!!

I had a couple of very serious tennis players (one plays division one in college) who also happen to be amazing ping pong players give this paddle a try. To my untrained eye, I thought the packaging was attractive and the paddle was aesthetically pleasing so I could have just given it five stars based on that, but I had them go at it in an intense ping pong match to give me their honest opinions. Interestingly enough, the better player of the two was using it until about half way through the match and then offered it to the other player because he wanted to switch back to the basic paddles we already had. So then player two used it for the second half of the game and said that something about the contact of the paddle and the ball wasn't appealing...he said the bounce was off. Granted, it is a new and different paddle so it probably would just take more time to get used to it, but honestly, I thought they would be "fighting" over who got to use the new fifty dollar paddle and in the end, they both went back to our standard maybe twenty dollar paddles. Maybe this is intended for pros at this price?!

This paddle arrives very nicely packaged, making it a really nice gift for a table tennis aficionado. It was ordered to replace a Kettler GTX85 Pro Competition paddle. This should be an improvement since the STIGA costs about 3X more, claims some technological advances, and has higher ratings for Control/Speed/Spin: 70/80/85 versus Kettler’s 70/70/60. Handle size and shape appears to be standardized on table tennis paddles: The Kettler has an uncomfortable handle for my husband’s size Large hands but it is about the same as the STIGA handle. I’m too out of practice to make an expert judgment, but the STIGA paddle feels better and in taking turns using it with my more skilled partner, the paddle was undefeated.

I gifted this to my boyfriend and he loved it! It was already sealed in a box perfect for gift wrapping. There were plastic films on both sides of the paddle. It’s very grippy, perfect for practicing his spins. I bought this before Christmas at $58.82 before tax and checking it again on January, they lowered the price to $50.82! I feel ripped off!
