This is a great idea. Its fairly cheap and does the job of keeping out dust and contaminants. It seems to be of good quality and it was easy to set up.

Great SAB. I just inoculated a few jars a few days ago, so have yet to see how many may have been contaminated, but this is a very easy to use and good quality box.

This is a good choice for a SAB. Easy to set up, it basically pops open by itself. Arm holes are decent size. Keeps air from moving while inoculations are happening. Helps keep a sterile work environment. Good price. Better than cutting your own out of a tote which is what I was using before.

I'm a newbie mushroom grower and my first still air box was simply a plastic tote flipped upside down with arm holes cut into it. This isn't a high end product by any means but it works and at the end of the day that's all that matters. Many people refrain from growing mushrooms due to the cost of all the equipment and this is an affordable entry point item that will get you off to a good start. There's no need to go all out in the beginning. Start cheap, learn and grow from there.

This is a really nice little still air box for mycology. It's great for the hobbyist that doesn't want to drop $1,000 on a laminar flow hood. There is a lot of space inside to work with and you can easily fit a few bags of grain, alcohol, spores, etc. inside. Just remember not to spray a bunch of alcohol inside to disinfect then light a lighter to disinfect the tip of the syringe or you're going to have a nice little explosion on your hands (literally on your hands). I really like that it folds up into a little container which I can keep stored out of the way. Great product at a low price!
