Needed a solution for my pontoon boat - mostly to hold/put cigar when I needed hands free or just didn't want to hold it. Needed a secure hold that would withstand wind, boat motion, but not crush the cigar.THIS IS PERFECT.Sits in my cup holder perfectly.Doesn't crush cigar, but holds it; easy in & out.Easy to ash; easy to clean/dump out.Flip the lid closed and it almost disappears.Love it!

I use this as a travel ashtray for when I'm smoking a cigar out at the local park. I can smoke and leave the park cleaner than I left it by putting other peoples trash that they left behind in the grass into this ashtray. The ashtray won't stay upright with the lid open but you don't need it in a vertical position for it to do it's job. It works perfectly fine with the lid open laying on its side. It's thick and heavy enough that it won't blow away in the wind. I highly recommend all smokers to buy this product. It's a great product for responsible smokers to keep from littering.

I've always carried one of these little bad boys in my "go bag" in my truck. Fits right into the cup holder of the vehicle and stays put. The lid has a great cigar tension clip that holds any ring size you are smoking in place without harming the wrapper. Deep well for all the ash and holding the remains of the cigar when you are done. The lid closes tight and keep the ash and the odor inside as you travel. Can not say enough good things about these little guys.

The ashtray does what it's suppose to do, of course. The flip lip with grips works great. I was initially concerned that the metal strips that hold the cigar might in any way damage the delicate wrapper of the cigar, but they're very gentle. They grip just enough to hold it, but not enough to harm it.However, I'm giving 4/5 stars for the simple reason that it's too small for most cup holders. The fact that it's too small to for most cup holders means that it flops around or falls over. That's not good when there's a cigar in the clips. I'm going to have to retrofit it with foam or something to get it to really fit snugly in a car cup holder.

What I like: simple, easy to clean, holds a cigar well. What I don't like: it's small and doesn't fit snug in most normal cup holder spaces, so it bounces around in the car. To use it I had to stuff paper around the cigar ashtray so that it would fit. This was annoying. I'm looking to make something I can place the ashtray in so that it will then fit snug in my cup holder.

Cool cigar holder. Gentle clip holds cigars, doesn't damage the wrapper. Must have accessory for cigar smokers if they enjoy a good stogie while on a drive.

I out it into cup holders on the tractor, so it holds good but as others mention this needs a weighted bottom to use on the back deck or such
