I am impressed with how this stitch gun functions for clothing. I thought there would be a visible gap with each stitch. I found that it holds the fabric close & securely. It is a quick & economical way to fix things. Depending on the fabric & how each stitch is applied, the plastic doesn't irritate skin. It functions very well, is convenient & versatile in what you can stitched together. It is easy to use & changing the needle when necessary is simple. A few of the stitch rods came in mangled, but overall they run smoothly through the stitch gun. This stitch gun is a great quality item that is good for anyone to have on hand & perfect for fixing clothes, costumes, blankets, or many other items.

I was so excited to get this! I’ve got several tops and dresses that just need a little extra securing across the chest. And, honestly this works perfect for those and clothing of thinner fabric. Once fabric starts to get thicker though, it usually takes multiple times of pushing the gun through before it actually works. I tried in on a towel, took about 3-4 times before actually pushed through. Same goes for my dog’s collar that seems to keep loosening. I’m not sure it’s totally worth the price, but for the clothing it worked on, it’s saving me time not having to get my needle and thread out to make small stitches in my clothing that I really only need for that time of wear. It comes with everything you need, only wish there was some sort of bag that it came with to store everything. The box it comes in isn’t really one that is easy to repack.

No funciona en lo absoluto. Pero es como que saben de la mala calidad. Dentro de la caja viene un papel donde dice que si no funciona, esta defectuoso, etc., se debe llamar. Es ridiculo

These things are awesome and you don't know how much you need one yet, lol. We've used this for everything from Halloween costumes to workdays or a night out. It works great for those really low V-neck shirts that are just way too low for your build. Bra straps that keep falling down. My friend has used it to quickly hemp pants because she's pretty short. We've used it a ton of times on different parts of my daughters clothes. We use this so often we just keep it out in the cup with the scissors on the kitchen peninsula lol.

I wanted to try this THINKLEARN stitch gun for clothes, because I had a similar tool decades ago, and wanted to keep one on hand, as I lost the old one, and am down to using a needle and thread. This is exactly what I was looking for, and will update when I’ve used the stitch gun. It looks to be effective, and I like there are black as well as clear stitches to use.

To me this seems like a pretty decent way to quickly alter a piece of clothing or tack something prior to stitching. It probably could be used as a long term alteration for certain applications but won't be a finished type alteration. It worked well by my second attempt. The first attempt the pushing in of the fastener pushed the material forward on the needle such that it never made it through the material. With the second attempt I more firmly held the material against the gun at the base of the needle. The only thing I noticed was half of the tab on one side was missing and not certain if it was missing to begin with or broke off during application as I didn't see it anywhere. I think once properly applied it will be pretty secure if the tab is whole on both sides. Comes with an installed needle and 5 spare needles and lots of fasteners, plus a decent set of little scissors.
