I originally ordered the StorageWorks 5-Shelf organizer to store and showcase all my handbags but defaulted to storing a few small and medium-large handbags, sweaters and hats after my oversize totes and Maxi bags did not fit. I found the organizer to be well made. The canvas material is strong and the plastic board shelves are sturdy (no bending with placement of my sweaters, handbags, and hats), however some sagging was noted with heavier weighted items. The width of shelves was perfect to accommodate my needs and the 2 heavy-duty hooks fit perfectly over my closet rod. Overall, I am very happy with this organizer, however in the future if redesigned, I would love to see a couple of taller shelves added to accommodate larger items, such as oversize totes, and the plastic boards covered with fabric to decrease potential damage to the bottom of leather handbags.

After buying this, I was at Walmart and happened upon a larger, sturdier, more functional hanging organizer for decidedly less money. Wish I’d seen that one first.

I use these for storing my shows in the coat closet as our house is very small and not a lot of room for another cabinet or keeping them in a closet. These work well; I can fit 2-3 pairs in each cubby and no issues with too much weight. I lined them with plastic liner so the bottoms of the cubbies stay clean.

This exceeded my expectations. It is much sturdier than the previous storage box I had similar to it. Worth the couple of extra dollars over the cheaper ones.

So far, 8 months in, this hanging shelf is holding up amazingly for a space saver for part of my extensive boardgame collection. I needed a solution so I could have better access and not just put my games all on the floor, and I saw a photo from another buyer who had used this item for board games. It works so well! I was worried that the load would be a concern. Some of those crowdfunded boardgames are a little heavy with all their meeples and tokens. But this shelf has incredible Velcro holding power and surprising capacity. I’ve been really impressed. I think the main limiting factor is the closet bar strength it’s hanging from, but that has nothing to do with this item.I’d like to buy another one of these for a different closet I’ve been so pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend this product!
