Wanted a legal size file box and this was one of the only options on amazon (if not the only). I'm not unhappy with it though. It is very solid. The handle has a rubbery grip, the lid opens and closes nicely, and the lock feels very secure.The thing that worries me is the hinge. its a very thin piece of plastic that seems like it could just tear right off if the lid was open and the box fell or something. Though nothing has happened yet, I feel like I need to be very gentle when flipping open that lid. I'd doc half a star for this, but overall i'm pretty happy with it so i'll let it round up :)

When my mother died, as executor my work produced a lot of paperwork: some of it legal size and some letter size. I needed to keep it all together but organized and portable. This box was well worth the money. It can be adapted to either legal or letter size hanging folders. Plenty of room for bulky legal papers. And there is a tray area on top for holding small items like pens, paper clips, etc. It latches securely and has a place for a small padlock if you need it. Altogether a well thought out product.

It has good storage capacity easy to move around with handle. It's not a real heavy duty file storage container. Good for keeping documents you would have to move in a hurry due to some kind of emergency.

The title box was nice but ended up not working for us due to incorrect measurement on our end. The seller however was really helpful and understanding about it. We would definately purchase from them again if the need arises in the future.

It was the right size but not as sturdy or strong as our previous one. So probably won’t last as long. But a lot of things are not made as well as they use to be. Liked the little compartments in the lid. Our previous one also had those and great to store paper clips, pens, etc.

The box is the right size for my needs, however, it is cheaply made and poorly designed. I have three reasons why I can only give 1 star for this item. First, the lid that covers the tray built into the top of the box does not stay securely latched and will fall open and spill the contents when you open the box. There should be a more secure way to keep it latched until you want it open. Second, the main latch which keeps the lid latched so that you can carry the box is cheap and poorly designed. After light use for a few days, the latch came completely off the box and it's very difficult to put back into place. This has now happened multiple times and gets extremely frustrating. Lastly, there is no easy way to get a good grip on the lid to open the box other than using the handle on the top which is quite awkward. All the edges are smooth and it's hard to get a grip on anything to open the lid. I would not recommend and will definitely not purchase this product again unless there is a major improvement in the design. Unfortunately, I purchased a 2 pack and they are both worthless to me.

My sister loves this item as we just got it for her birthday today (as I write this). She is going to store her childrens' artwork in it as an archive.The plastic is extremely thick and strong but the case is very light. I bet you could probably sit on it and have it not break, in fact. The closures are large and firm with a good wide handle. There are also bars inside for hanging both legal and letter-sized, hanging folders; which are made of hardened steel. They and they clip in solidly cross-wise so the files will not slide around when moved.I find the price is a bit high though for when we bought it. But it is very useful for carrying around critical documents easily.... Or as a lightweight and compact archive.
