Seemed easy enough, I get everything layed out, out everything together that I can, solid build for sure, price is fair, holds up to 700 pounds which is a lot, plenty of hooks with locks to keep them in place so I look forward to putting stuff up in there. I do like how solid the parts and bolts and lag screws aren't cheap. I hung from it to test it, of course I'm not 700 lbs lol, but it very solid and doesn't move much at all.

It takes a bit of effort and planning to make sure the brackets are mounted into the ceiling rafters, but the result is well worth it! The common homeowner will have some issues trying to do it themselves. You will need to hire an experienced contractor or handyman to do the job correctly! Very nicely designed and constructed.

The description says 20inches minimum but doesn’t account for total clearance needed which is from the top of the brackets that attaches to the ceiling, to the very bottom. (Another 2.5â€) I have 9’ ceilings and needed 22.5†of clearance to clear the garage door when raised. Since I was mounting this in the dead space over The garage door, I had to cut each bracket to make it work. Otherwise it’s a good sturdy unit and recommend it.

I'd return this but it was way to hard to put up and I'd struggle to get it back down and packed. The platform looks very strong in the pictures but the metal is weaker than it appears or is rated. I put about 300 lbs on this rack and it sags noticeably in places. The problem is that the individual bars on the platform do not distribute the weight properly and it can be concentrated on one or two bars depending on the shape of contents. I think I'll need to add a sheet of plywood to the rack in order to better distribute the weight. I definitely won't be able to store some of my heavier items on this rack even though I'm well under the total advertised weight limit. Also, the instructions are somewhat difficult to follow particularly figuring out the perpendicular vs parallel installation. You'll definitely need help when installing the platform and this is not a ding against the rack, just making sure people know this is not a one man job.

Venons d'essayer de le monter, voulant ajuster la hauteur les visés fournis avec sont tellement de pauvres qualité quelles ont cassées. Donc supporter 700lbs ?? En toute sécurité ? Si on parvient en trouver visés remplaçantes le conseil NE PLACER RIEN DESSOUS par prudence si non le reste semble je dit semble solide es de très bonne grosseur. Comme bien d'autres choses acheter sur amazon très bien et pratique mais, service après avec les clés après vente faut oublier ou renvoyer. Lorsque que gros objets il nous reste quoi ? Enduré prendre son mal en patience et trouvé soit mm la solution

One of the metal brackets did not come pre drilled with the hole required to attach the bolts neccessary to secure the pieces together.
