This was very easy for my husband to assemble and looks just as beautiful as in the photo. The espresso color matches our black-brown wooden furniture perfectly; it's a wonderful addition to our bedroom, and all the storage space it comes with (drawers in the front of the changer and shelving in the back) means not having to use any closet or dresser space for baby's things, and still having room for toys! The crib itself is very sturdy, but the changing table unfortunately won't support more than about 35 lbs of weight. Hopefully by then the little one is potty-trained anyway, but we're still going to err on the side of caution and stop using the top part of the storage compartment as a changer before then. The other issue we had with the changing station is that, as other reviewers have mentioned, the changing pad that comes with the crib is very hard and unpleasant, but it is very difficult to find a different pad to replace it that will actually fit on the changing table. Our solution was to simply "make" the Summer Infant Contoured Changing Pad (which I highly recommend -- it is very squishy and the covers are very soft and come in loads of colors) fit. With the bottom of the changing pad lined up with the bottom of the changing table (that little gap is too small for a changing pad to squish out of), we pushed the Summer Infant changing pad down so it was lying on the bottom of the changing table, which leaves about five inches extra in length curving upwards along the top. The result is basically a little elevation for the little one's head, like a gentle pillow. This works just fine for me, since I wasn't enthusiastic about baby potentially hitting his head on the bars in the back, and it still looks great.Overall these are such minor complaints compared to how awesome this crib is overall. You really can't beat the price for getting four children's beds, a dresser, a bookshelf, and a changing table all in one, especially with the quality with which it was designed. I spent months shopping around for just the right crib at just the right price and I am very, very happy with the result.

Well let me be the first to say that this crib combo is well built the finish is really nice and is very sturdy came with a ton of hardware to put the thing together with and is well worth the money however on the pricey side it should last for years to come i haven't turned it into the other combinations of a bed but it should be just as nice anyone else expecting when they get it put together just put the extra parts in the closet like I did and in the future your set that was the good heres the bad it does take some time to assemble took me about 3hrs once I finally got it inside this thing is heavy and the directions are a little confusing you really need to pay attention on the little numbers on all the pieces because they don't interchange from both sides the manufacturer should make the instructions a little more detailed but if you are anyway mechanical inclined and have some basic hand tool knowledge you will be just fine assembling this thing that all being said we love it and is going to be all my little girl will need for a bed for years to come UpdateHas been over 2 years and this crib combo is still going strong my little girl loves it and has just started jumping on the bed I like it so much I bought my son the same thing just in a different color as of today 4/18/23 I just got the rails and a full size mattress and box springs for her to turn it into a full size and I found on Amazon some brackets that turn the full size rails into a queen that way am definitely going to get my money out of itConAnd it's not really a con the spring for the kids mattress has left my little girl still sleepy when she gets up in the morning so box spring is a must

We loved this crib...grows with the baby and looks great. Used it as a crib and then infant bed. Solid construction.

This being the first crib I've ever bought, since this is my first child, I was super excited. I wanted to make sure she would be able to use it for longer than just being a baby, which is why we went with a convertible style crib/bed. I ordered the crib after my baby shower to ensure no family bought us one. The price was fairly in range of all the other crib with changer models. Once ordered, I got the your crib has been shipped email from Amazon. Being as excited as I was, I checked on the tracking. I've cut back at work, and wanted to make sure I was at our home when the package arrived that way it wouldn't sit outside on the porch until after dark. Unfortunately, I never got to track it. Every time I clicked on the "Track Package" button, I got that it was unavailable and not able to retrieve the information. It gave me a tracking date estimate of about 5 days, but I was worried since I couldn't track it. I got a phone call from my mother in law that when she drove past our house, there was a rather large package on the porch. Once my husband and I got home, he pulled it inside (Future Mama's, I would not recommend you pull the package in...it is VERY heavy, have the delivery driver or your husband do it!) The package wasn't too beat up, which is another reason I like to be home when I get expensive/large deliveries, I like to check for damage. One of the first things my husband made a comment on was that the box looked like it had been opened previously. Once we started taking the pieces out, a couple of the parts were not wrapped in the plastic like the rest were. And some even had scuffs on them, like someone had taken them out and looked at them or even tried to put the crib together, but decided they didn't like it. Most of the pieces looked great. And there weren't major damages on any of the pieces. The instructions were kind of crummy. It took about 2 hours for us to put it together. He did most of the work, I just held pieces together so he could screw them in. The Allan Wrench didn't fit the screws all that fabulously, but it is what it is. Everything got put together and it seems sturdy. The changing pad I got from Babies R Us, doesn't fit the changing table, (the pad is too long) but it comes with a pad that fits. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it!
