Previously, I used a “cloth glove†style which had a small rectangular metal piece to help keep the wrist straight. I purchased this because it is similar to what I used to use, and loved, a LONG time ago. All I can say is WOW! Since getting this my league average went up between 5 and 8 pins at the END of the season (which is difficult). I was FAR more consistent with the way I rolled the ball, because my wrist was held in the same position every time. With the “cloth glove†style, I was able to change wrist and hand position, which made my shots inconsistent (one time it would hook a lot, and the next not enough hook). This particular glove has not only added consistency to my game, but my ball also hooks significantly more than before. I went from a 179/180 average to 185 in one league and 188 in another. I have subsequently joined a “summer league†and I am averaging 208 through 4 weeks (I have shot over a 600 series almost every single bowling night since purchasing this item), and I have not averaged over 200 in more than a decade.Do yourself a favor and get it if you are considering it. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Like some who bought this product, I use it due to medical reasons. RA can wreak havoc on your joints. The C1 glove does help in maintaining support from the knuckles to the wrist. However, it does not fit well for me. The glove has pressure points on my hand/wrist, so that's the trade-off.The glove does enough for me to work with. But, when Robbie's gloves comes back on market, I'll be jumping on one of those.

I just got back into bowling, and was using my old brace from almost 30 years ago. I was pleased to find this was still made. The straps are an upgrade from the old one, using padding and velcro instead of pleather and a buckle.

I bought this simply to alleviate nerve pain from my fingers into my shoulder and neck when releasing the bowling ball. I was using "steel fingers", and even though the fit was better overall and less cumbersome, the steel fingers are a huge pain to put on and take off while bowling. Plus, they make your fingers sweat, which is obviously an issue when bowling more than one game. This brace serves the same purpose (not letting my ring finger bend back too far), but the fit is a little off, so it doesn't feel the same every time I out it on. To some people this will make no difference. To picky people, it may make a big difference.
