Absolutely useless. Doesn’t work. Fruit just stick to the slicer and you have to pry it out which defeats the purpose of this thing in the first place. Save your money and don’t buy it. I’m returning this.

It makes a mess because when you push down it pushes the strawberry out and smashes it on the outside which makes a complete mess And it just pretty much mashes your strawberry It doesn't cut it

I could hardly wait to give this a try once I received it. Put it right to work slicing an almost overripe banana. The wires are nice and tight and they sliced right through the banana without mushing it up, and I loved that the pieces fall right into a little container instead of on the counter or some other receptacle that needs to be provided. The way the teeth on the lid that push down on the food are angled helps keep the food from being pushed forward as the lid is lowered to begin slicing. I like the It can very easily be washed in the dishwasher or by hand and small enough to store almost anywhere - cupboard or drawer. It's only slightly larger than my usual egg slicer, but can do so much more. I have not yet tried it on a hard boiled egg, and am concerned that an extra large egg may prove to be too large to fit in one piece. We shall see. In the meantime, I'll continue to use it on other fruits and vegetables as needed
