Well pleased. I was surprised at how quiet this is, no noise at all. I plugged up 2 boxes and at first had to check if it was plugged in. Quieter than my zoom power supply. My only concern is the plug attachments, a good jerk and they could come loose I suppose. But with care this is a great value for the price.

This STRICH daisy chain is a great choice if you need an affordable way to power up to 4 guitar pedals. For just $10, it’s hard to beat. It runs pretty quiet, though a little feedback can happen—that’s just how daisy chains work. As long as all your pedals use 9V power, it works pretty well. I usually prefer isolated power supplies for cleaner results, but sometimes you just need a quick, simple solution. It’s a solid backup to have on hand and gets the job done!

The problem with some daisy chain power supplies is that they can promote what is called a ground loop. This is an slight corruption of the signal in the form of a hum or buzz. For this reason some folks do not like to use this style.I put the thing together and plugged it in. I used an overdrive, a flanger, an auto-wah, and a delay. All the pedals have true bypass. I tried three different source instruments. The first was a guitar, the second a bass, and the third a keyboard. I started without any of the pedals engaged. The signal was clear and clean with no humming, buzzing, or interference. Each instrument's voice was clean.The next step was to test the various combinations of pedals through the three different instruments. The signal remained clear and clean with the volume both cranked and low. At no point did I hear any interference and at rest the chain was completely silent.The final step was to put the entire signal chain through an oscilloscope. That is the true test. It gives you a numerical as well as visual graph of the signal in wave form which allows you to determine signal integrity beyond the normal capacity of human hearing. The signal remained clear and clean with absolute minimal interruption. It's important to note that you will never get the entire pure value in wave form because you are using cables and connectors and despite any efforts the hardware will affect the signal chain. This is due to what is called insertion loss and any none electrical component of any device will add decay and prevent a pure reading. Regardless of the instrument used the signal strength remained constant when similar frequencies were dialed in.This particular daisy chain worked as well as any I have had over the years. It performed to the standard I expect. The signal was clear and clean. The price point on this product is more than fair. I have used these over the years and the average that I have paid for to replace them has been around $39 dollars for the whole package or $26 just for additional extensions. I realize that there are only four points on this product but at the end of the day buying two of them is still a far better deal than the name brand chains give you. I was completely satisfied with my order and would recommend this product for anyone who just wants to play instead of spending time chasing hums and buzzes. You can't do much better than this.

I use this to plug in a tuner and a direct box. It works exactly how you would expect and it's perfect for The church stage. I'm happy because it makes the stage look a lot cleaner

Lo uso para alimentar 3 pedales de bajo,de momento ninguna queja,hace su trabajo,no mete ruido ni cambia el tono de los pedales,no sé si al conectar un cuarto pedal la cosa cambia,pero en principio muy contento,he probado otros que al conectar varios pedales empiezan a hacer ruidos y cosas raras

Had no hum issues or other unpleasant noises. Decent unit for a very decent price. Lives up to its name. Seems sturdy enough. Very good value for the price; I've owned more expensive units that weren't this quiet. Seems well shielded; e.g. my Jazz Bass picks up light-typical noise in this house, even when all my studio gear is off and I'm only using my amp and one standard lamp about 5m away. This house has serious electrical issues, such as faulty downlight transformers, and this supply doesn't pick up the slightest thing!CAVEAT: I didn't have the gear to test daisy chaining, as I was only testing one compressor at a time with it. Unlike in the 80s, when I had pedals all over the floor in stereo, I don't do the whole pedal thing anymore. Even this second compressor's going back, but I thus missed the returns window for this supply (and since it's working so very perfectly, there's no warranty claim). But this is a better unit then some of the ones I had to use back then.Aside, handy to have such a decent – now tried and tested on two decent quality pedals (even if not to my taste) – power supply in the house for checking out a far better compressor once I have the funds.
